The beauty of winter

Tucked up inside Hilltop Farm Barn enjoying the underfloor heating and the views from inside you may be missing the best bit of Lincolnshire. Photo opportunities with the low winter light abound. Winter is also a great time to visit for the wildlife. Just across the valley on the River Trent we have the newly opened RSPB reserve at Langford. It is currently full of waterbirds of many species. Or you could go across the fen to Frampton Marsh, now one of the best locations for waders in the country. You never know what surprises you may find. This cowslip was in flower at Langford on Sunday 24th January!
