Simply Stunning!

**Simply stunning!**nnWe have had some glorious days in September and the light is still strong enough for great viewing and wildlife photography. We watched this female kingfisher for over an hour. It picked up several fish, including a bullhead which it never quite wanted. It threw it away into the water quite deliberately on three occasions, retrieving it again as though for fun, before giving up and flying off. Good light and plenty of patience can pay off with photography.
