It is now easier than ever to shop local. The range of goods that can be purchased from the three villages within 3 miles of Hilltop Farm is expanding each year. Five pubs, five cafes, a farm shop, antiques centre, craft designs for gifts, butcher, baker (and even candlestick maker in the craft shop!), plus three general food shops open long hours. We have found this year that increasing number of people are bringing their bike with them on holiday and spending more time exploring and enjoying the immediate neighbourhood. Yes, we even have an electric bike shop in local Navenby. From 2022 we have a designated bike shed adjacent to Hilltop cottage, which can also be used for general storage during your stay. Hilltop Barn already has covered and secure storage for bikes.. Although most people will continue to arrive by car the opportunities for a more relaxing stay after perhaps a long journey have never been better. The nearby hourly bus service into Lincoln is also a convenient option for the inevitable visit to the castle and cathedral.
