Camping on water

**Our dry woodland picnic area in February!** n nWe move out of a very soggy winter into Spring. Winter rainfall is always welcome here in this relatively dry part of the country, topping up our ground water supplies and giving the crops a good start in anticipation of a summer drought at some stage. The skies on a fine day are crystal clear, the air is clean, the roads relatively safe with the much needed reduced traffic flows, even here in Lincolnshire where we suffer little from congestion. Just park your car up here on the farm and enjoy miles of uncluttered walks. One of the best is just five miles away where the old Bloxholm Woods have been taken over by the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust and now have lovely open paths and a greater variety of ground flora.
